7-Zip Portable, as the name suggests, is the pocket version of 7-Zip. It is a file compressor that works with the following formats: 7z, ARJ, BZIP2, CAB, CPIO, DEB, GZIP, RPM, and the most popular RAR and ZIP. Depending on the type of file, the 7-Zip compression can reach up to 50%.



The same as in the original version, 7-Zip Portable includes the same characteristics, total Windows integration and the ability to create autoextract files with 7z format. But on top of all this, 7-Zip has the advantage that it can be taken easily in a USB, iPod, external hard drive or other device. It can then be used in any PC, without installation and of course, without leaving any type of personal information in the PC you use.
